I love having this wonderful set of tools to create a stronger and deeper marriage for me and my spouse!The book lives up to its promise to dig into communication and intimacy, two commonly tough areas for many couples. Definately a book aim specially for Christians. He played in the movie Dope, which is a movie that speaks to a lot of kids and adults alike in our generation.
Gary Chapman, the author behind The Five Love Languages has continued to delve into the field of relationships and brought us a guide on how to communicate with our partners.
Yet, now I find myself wanting to know so much more. So it was a given that when I heard that he was going to be in this movie, that I was hopping on board. I should really read it again. His own life experiences, plus over forty years of pastoring and marriage counseling, led him to publish his first book in the Love Language series, The 5 Love Languages®: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. This man has forged his way into the industry and changed things that he probably didn’t intend to. .
Yet, I managed to read the book until the end because the counseling seems rational and useful.

I read this book a few years ago and it is one of the best books Ive read for married people. Reading Speak my Language is a reminder that the short story is a quick piece of literature for the deep thinker. Gary Chapman has written a self-help book for those who are married, be it newlyweds or long time married couples.

... all this technical jargon is pretty boring. Do you love the dignity the older couple extends to each other? Logic being a multi-racial rapper who feels that he doesn’t fit into either his white or black side. My husband is also reading it now and it is helping us know how to communicate even better in our day to day living! I have fallen asleep and unsure how much I missed when I dozed off. I like that he talked about letting the spouse safely share all things even though you may disagree with your spouse's opinions. There wasn’t anything that had me so excited to dive deeper into the universe before today. It is not easy to listen to Gary Chapman's voice via audiobook. Even if their marriage is a good marriage, it can become even better!
