Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book--now available in paper--is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

Starting in July The Houston Executive Book Club will have two amazing books to pick from. They keep telling you why this or that happened, removing the joy of figuring it out for yourself. It reminds me of going to the movies with someone who has already seen the picture and can't keep their mouth shut. One of the main ones for me is “Self Discipline”. Need another excuse to treat yourself to a new book this week?

It really got me inspired to put all the theories into practice.

This book would be great for someone who prefers novels. "Napoleon Hill was an American author in the area of the new thought movement who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. Written by Sharon L Lechter and Greg S Reid Personally this was my favourite as it still had a lot of great ideas, most of which are from Think and Grow Rich but there was a story line. We will continue "Think and Grow Rich" and have added "Outwitting The Devil". Their opposition has no chance against them because the opposition has no plan, no purpose, no policy except that of drifting along, hoping that something may turn upto help them. A great challenge to your mindset on whatever it is you are currently facing. It was a pretty judgy book, and it was somewhat mind-boggling how much he wrote about being too afraid to publish the book despite that by not publishing the book, he left "98% of people" to continue driftiI thought that many of the points in this book were solid, but I was annoyed at some of the political points that were thrown in with no justification (i.e. It is not yet released, but can be purchased on Amazon, and sent to you when it is released! Welcome back. Read this book!!

It may have been more controversial back when it was written, but I found some of his criticisms of society to be rather far-seeing. Definitely some good stuff in here. This is alert!

He lives in fear in much of the population. It is written by Napoleon Hill. It is uplifting, inspiring, and timely!I won this book in the giveaway, and received it yesterday! Written in 1938, it was held back from publishing because of fear of the contents (ironic since this book is about fear). Simple and brilliant...filled with AHA moments. This book is a must read for everyone. The seven principles Mr. Hill identified made so much sense. Because people want to be free from poverty and have access to healthcare in order to prevent ill health.) I truly recommend this book to people who have maybe only a short time to read each day as you can simply read one question and answer then put the book down and come back later and not have to worry about the previous information.
