WGUC - WGUC, Cincinnati's Classical Public Radio, was founded in 1960 by a group of citizens who saw the need for a radio station devoted to cultural and public affairs programming in the region.
We are truly blessed in Cincinnati as having one of the best classical music stations in 90.9 WGUC. On March 1, 2009, Cincinnati Public Radio took over management of WMUB, which is licensed to 91.7 WVXU/88.5 WMUB carries many of the top rated public radio programs from program providers such as NPR, American Public Media, Public Radio International and PRX. Since then it’s become part of me.
