Since it opened in 2015, Newport Street Gallery has been hosting a range of different exhibitions, from major artists like Jeff Koons to rising stars that Hirst is keen to spotlight. The maximum group size is 20 people.

All images Copyright © Alex UptonLocated in Vauxhall, London, just a short walk from the Thames River and running parallel to an elevated section of railway is architectural practice Caruso St John’s Architectural Photography of Newport Street Gallery’s Main Entrance.The gallery is comprised of several former theatre warehouses which have been converted by London architecture studio Contrasting the old and new brickwork along Newport Street Gallery’s facade.In the wake of its opening the building has slowly been picking up a host of prestigious awards, most notably the A sense of architectural scale - contrasting the former industrial warehouse with the galleries new office space.The galleries close proximity to the adjacent railway line makes it tricky to photograph the building’s exterior in its entirety face-on, which is unfortunate for the changes in brickwork, architectural detailing and form would look great from this perspective. The stair spaces have been built in a white engineering brick, giving the building the tectonic quality of brick construction that has had to be so extensively concealed in the gallery spaces. Newport Street Gallery The elegant Stirling prize-winning Newport St Gallery, designed by Caruso St John Architects for Damien Hirst and completed in 2015. There are 16 bike rack spaces available for visitors located outside the main gallery entrance on Newport Street.Santander Cycle Hire docking stations are located on Lollard Street and Black Prince Road (both a 3 minute walk away)Newport Street Gallery does not have any visitor parking so we would encourage you to take public transport where possible.The parking bays on Newport Street are for permit holders only from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. edit subscriptions. The staircases are notable, an impressive mash-up of white and wood. The two gallery levels are connected by new spiral staircases and a large lift. The nearest pay and display parking spaces are on Juxon Street (5 minute walk) and have a maximum stay restriction of four hours.The nearest coach parking bays are on Lambeth Road and have a maximum stay restriction of four hours.Holders of Lambeth Council blue disabled badges may park in residents’ only bays providing the blue badge is displayed.
Housed within a renovated Victorian scenery-painting studio in Vauxhall, south London, admission to the gallery is free.The shop at Newport Street Gallery is located in the gallery’s main entrance or click through to Located within Newport Street Gallery, Pharmacy 2 serves an informal menu of snacks and drinks and is open to all during gallery hours.The gallery is currently closed and will reopen with our new exhibition. The staircases themselves, of which there are three, all slightly different in form and geometry, are surrounded by a white engineered brick which follows their curvature all the way to the top of the building.
