this is a review for the RED VINYL EDITION OF THIS 2 LP SET, if you get the red vinyl version you should also get a necklace that came with this as well, there is also a blue vinyl version as well, there where 500 blue pressed and 500 red vinyl pressed of this title, the RED VINYL only comes with the necklace as the blue vinyl edition was exported to the us, my guess is out of 500 blue the us got around 250 or 300 copies maybe, the red vinyl seems to have been for the european market but a lot of us yanks that wanted it still could pay more and get it wich i did, this is a beautiful gatefold 2 lp set, the artwork as you can see is flawless and i feel it may be the nicest priest lp sleeve in almost 40 years since sad wings of destiny back in 1976, the sleeves, the inner gatefold eveything is very very well done here and any die hard jp fan or collector will love this edition,as for the music????? A surprising album from Priests!
"Redeemer of Souls" is not another "Nostradamus" or even "Angel of Retribution". On the contrary, the arrival of Richie Faulkner boosted new energy into the Metal Gods. No idea if there will be a follow-up, but, anyway, if this is going to be their last one ever, it's an epic good-bye with fireworks and explosions. "Welcome to my world of steel" sneers The word "epic" is thrown around too often in the world of music, but Judas Priest's new album 'Redeemer of Souls' is, in fact, truly epic.
Saw them live last month and the show was amazing, Rob looked energetic and his vocals were truly powerful!

The only turndown is production, rather flat for this kind of bombastic heavy metal, but that's a general problem of today's music, not only Judas Priest's. The Redeemer of Souls Tour was a worldwide concert tour by British heavy metal band, Judas Priest, which was in support of Redeemer of Souls.It was their first tour since the conclusion of the Epitaph World Tour in 2012, which was originally dubbed as a farewell tour; the band has since retracted that statement.. Absolutely fantastic, if you like the classic sound you shouldn't be disappointed with this.
It’s a triumphant return to their previous sound, while also updating it in the best way possible.
Somehow Rob Halford sounds as good as ever on this album, while being 60+ years old. Redeemer Of Souls marks a turning-point in the history of Judas Priest.
After KK Downing's departure, the most thought Rob and co. were about to call it a day.
This matches my album in every way except the runouts in this description are missing a 2.
"Halls Of Valhalla", "March Of The Damned", "Metalizer" and "Sword Of Damocles" are the highlights here, but the whole album flows really good.
This album stands the test of time, and in my book, belongs alongside the classics.
